Reader survey
I was told once that I shouldn't use this blog as a 'diary'... It should be for stories, and amusing anecdotes, but not my current life...
But I use this blog to talk to people, quite a few of whom I consider to be real friends, and should I not be able to talk to friends about major life issues that I am unsure about? Things I would like to have others' opinions about?
There is nothing in this blog that I wouldn't want my neighbors to read... Nothing that most people here in Hick County don't already know... Although if there is any intelligence here, that might surprise a few... People here tend to think that someone who has what is basically a "physical labor" job has no intelligence...
Maybe I should put this out as a question: Are you bored with my life? Should I just talk about current events and semi-interesting stories from my childhood??
Anyway...
Today is the day I have to work 3-11 pm with the woman who has been talking shit about me... Knowing her reputation in Hooterville, I am not worried, but I hate people who talk trash behind my back... She is friends with Andy, and I think that her telling him lies about me may have contributed to the break up in that relationship... Not that I would want him now if he would believe her over me... But I am not looking forward to this shift... It's my most hated shift to work to begin with...
I will shut up for now, see what kind of answers I come up with to my question... If any....

Honey, that was just someone's opinion at that moment in time, not a directive of what you have to do forever if you don't want to.
It's your blog, write what you want to if you are asking my opinion.
I like reading it all, past, present and future hopes and dreams. Thoughts, realities, fantasy moments whatever you want to write.
That's just my opinion.
Thank you, Magdala... I think he was worried about people here in Hick county recognizing me, or other readers figuring out where I am... But this new blog has nothing in it I wouldn't want these people to know... And I am not too worried about anyone actually looking for me... lol
My rule is to never put anything out on the internet unless you really don't mind others reading it. Otherwise, I write whatever I like.

Yeah, what they all said!! : ) Blogs are, by their nature, the ultimate in self-indulgence (right after masturbation. . .) so why not make it All About You?!
I say if you get caught up in what you "should" be writing, you will always second guess yourself, because no matter what you write, some will love it, some may be bored by it, some may hate it. It can drive you crazy trying to please people. Trust me, I know. . . Write what MOVES you (or even just what is on your mind) and I'll keep coming back : )
Personally, I enjoy the more "personal" blogs than the "current events" or even always funny blogs. It makes me feel closer to my fellow citizens to see inside their minds and hearts, their vulnerabilities and victories. But that's just me. And I think you're great.
Babygirl...just write. I'll read. You bring me back time after time no matter what you have to say. I may not say it often enough but you're in my heart now. I have to keep reading.
Thanks guys... I guess instead of concentrating on the one person I lost, I should concentrate on the great friends I still have...
